Free Daily Sudoku

Sudoku is the world's most popular number puzzle. Fill the 9×9 grid so that every row, column, and 3×3 box contains each digit from 1 to 9 exactly once. No maths required — only logic.

A fresh Daily puzzle is available every day. Or jump into Easy, Medium, Hard, or Expert for a random board at your chosen difficulty. Your time and hints are recorded on the leaderboard — fewer hints and a faster time put you higher.

How to play

• Click a cell to select it, then press a digit key, tap a numpad button, or click the cell again to cycle through 1–9.
• Press ⌫ or Delete to clear a cell.
• Use the arrow keys to move the selection.
• Switch to Notes (or press N) to pencil in small candidates instead of answers; tap a digit again to remove it.
• Auto candidates fills every empty cell with the digits that still fit; in Notes mode you can cross candidates out. Auto check marks wrong answers in red. Conflicts highlights digits repeated in a row, column or box.
• Auto candidates and Auto check are shown next to your time on the leaderboard; Conflicts and your own notes are not.
• Click Hint to reveal the correct digit for the selected cell (counted on the leaderboard).
