Tap a number to select it, then tap a matching number to remove the pair. Numbers match if they are equal or sum to 10, and are connected by a clear horizontal, vertical, or diagonal line (row-end wraps to the next row). Use Add Lines when stuck. Using Hint (−3 pts) or Undo (−5 pts) deducts from your score.

Scoring & Rules
  • +1 per pair removed
  • +1 to +4 Far Apart bonus — one point per empty cell between the pair (max 4)
  • +10 per full row cleared
  • +150 board cleared
  • −3 per 💡 Hint used
  • −5 per ↩ Undo used

Tools: ↩ Undo (3 per game, −5 pts each) · 💡 Hint (9 per game, −3 pts each) · + Add Lines (free, unlimited)
Leaderboard ranks by score ÷ time — higher score achieved faster = better rank. All modes — Daily, Easy, Medium, Hard and Expert — have their own daily leaderboard.

About Numbers Match

What is Numbers Match?

Numbers Match is a number-pairing puzzle where you clear a grid by connecting pairs of matching numbers. Two numbers match if they are identical (1 and 1, 7 and 7) or if they sum to 10 (1 and 9, 2 and 8, 3 and 7, 4 and 6, 5 and 5). To remove a pair, the two numbers must be connected by a clear line — horizontal, vertical, or diagonal — with only empty cells between them.

A unique twist is the row wrap: the last cell of a row is considered adjacent to the first cell of the next row, extending horizontal connections across the line boundary. This creates unexpected matching opportunities that reward careful scanning.

When no valid moves remain, tap Add Lines to append the remaining numbers to the bottom of the board, creating new adjacencies. The board grows until you can clear everything.

How to Score Points

  • Basic match (+1): Every pair you remove earns at least one point.
  • Far Apart bonus (+1–4): Matching numbers with empty cells between them earns a bonus — one point per empty cell, up to four. Seek out long-range matches for maximum points.
  • Row clear (+10): When an entire row becomes empty, you earn a 10-point bonus. Plan ahead to clear full rows.
  • Board clear (+150): Clear the entire board for a large bonus and a spot on the leaderboard.
  • Hint penalty (−3): Each 💡 Hint you use deducts 3 points. Use them wisely.
  • Undo penalty (−5): Each ↩ Undo deducts 5 points. Think before you match.

All five modes — Daily, Easy, Medium, Hard, and Expert — have their own daily leaderboard. Your best score of the day counts.

Strategy Tips

  1. Scan for long-range pairs. Far Apart bonuses add up quickly. Before making an obvious adjacent match, look for the same pair connected through empty space.
  2. Target row clears. A row with only one or two numbers remaining is close to a +10 bonus. Prioritise clearing those numbers to trigger the bonus.
  3. Avoid hints unless truly stuck. Each hint costs −3 pts. If you need to use one, it probably won't be the last — save the rest for later rows.
  4. Undo is expensive. At −5 pts each and only 3 available, reserve undos for accidental taps, not exploration. Plan your matches before tapping.
  5. Add Lines is free. Unlike hints and undos, Add Lines has no score penalty and is unlimited. Use it whenever no valid move exists.
