What is Minesweeper Rush?

Minesweeper Rush is an endless, fast-paced twist on classic Minesweeper. Instead of clearing a fixed grid, new rows of hidden mines continuously drop from the top of the board. Your job is to identify and flag every mine in each row before the rows pile up and the board overflows. Clear rows earn you points; let too many stack up and it's game over.

The longer you survive, the faster the rows drop — turning Rush into a test of reflexes and pattern recognition as much as logical deduction. It's the same core Minesweeper you know, but with a relentless sense of urgency that keeps every second exciting.

How to Play Minesweeper Rush

The controls are simple. Left-click (or tap on mobile) a cell to reveal it. Right-click (or long-press on mobile) to plant a flag on a suspected mine. When every mine in a row is flagged correctly, that row clears automatically and contributes to your score. Rows without mines clear as soon as all their cells are revealed.

Difficulty Modes

• Easy — Fewer mines per row and a gentle drop speed. A great starting point if you're new to Rush or want a more relaxed experience.
• Normal — A balanced challenge suited to players who are comfortable with classic Minesweeper. Mine density and drop speed increase steadily as your score grows.
• Hard — Dense mine placement and an aggressive drop speed that demands quick, confident decisions. Only the most experienced sweepers survive long here.

Scoring

Your score is the total number of mines you've cleared (flagged in successfully cleared rows). The leaderboard resets at midnight UTC each day, so every player starts fresh. High scores from all three difficulty modes are tracked separately, letting you compete across the board.

Salvage Tokens

In a tight spot? Salvage tokens let you instantly clear a dangerous row — even one you haven't fully flagged. Tokens are earned by clearing rows efficiently. Use them wisely: they're your emergency escape hatch when the board starts to overflow.

Tips & Strategy

• Prioritize the bottom rows. Focus on the rows closest to the danger zone first. A cleared bottom row buys you breathing room when things get hectic.
• Use number clues aggressively. Revealed numbers tell you exactly how many mines are in adjacent cells — use them to flag mines in new rows before they drop further.
• Don't over-reveal. Unlike classic Minesweeper, you often don't need to clear every cell. Flag the mines, clear the row, and move on.
• Save salvage tokens for emergencies. Don't burn them early — hold on to them until a row is about to push the board over the edge.
• Learn the rhythm on Easy first. Spend time on Easy until you can clear rows without hesitation. That muscle memory will carry you in Normal and Hard.
• Watch the drop speed indicator. The speed multiplier displayed in the info panel tells you how fast things are escalating. Mentally prepare for each tier jump.
