🧩 How to Play Jigsaw

Goal

Assemble all the pieces of the image on the board. The puzzle is complete when every piece is snapped into its correct position and connected into a single group.

Difficulty Levels

Playing

• Pieces start in the stash panel on the right, scattered as if tipped from a box.
• Drag a piece from the stash onto the board to place it.
• When two pieces that fit together are brought within snapping distance, they snap together automatically with a click sound.
• Snapped pieces form a group that can be dragged as a single unit.
• Use the reference thumbnail (bottom-left of the board) to see the complete image.

Controls

• Timer — starts on your first piece interaction.
• Pause — stops the timer. Signed-in users can close the page and resume later.
• Restart — resets the puzzle with the same image and difficulty.
• Gallery — browse and start puzzles from other images.
• Mute — toggles the snap sound effect.

Daily Puzzle

One image is selected each day, the same for every player. The puzzle resets at midnight UTC. Completion times are recorded on the daily leaderboard — separately for each difficulty level.

Guest scores are accepted but cleared at midnight UTC. Registered user scores are retained permanently.

Custom Puzzles

Use the Puzzle Generator to upload your own image and share a link with friends. Guests can play shared links; uploading requires signing in.
