What Is Evil?

Evil is the hardest Minesweeper training mode on minesweeper.org. The 20×30 board packs 130 mines and is guaranteed to contain at least one high-complexity logical pattern — the kind that trips up even experienced players. That's what makes it evil. No-Guess mode is always active: every board is fully solvable by logic, no coin flips required. It's Evil, not Impossible.

The top-right corner is always safe. A green X marks your starting cell. From there, careful constraint propagation and pattern recognition are your only tools.
